The Wall Cemetery

Located outside of Thompson, on the Wrighter’s Lake Road, the Wall Cemetery is another small, older cemetery located within Wayne County, PA. Up until two years ago, this cemetery was over grown, neglected and hardly recognizable as a graveyard. With many thanks going to the American Legion Riders Post 86 of Susquehanna, PA and their hard work, it is now a very neat, well preserved cemetery. Because of their diligence, the lovely stone wall that encases the front entrance is now intact, all the brush, bushes have been cut back and it gives the presence of a peaceful country resting place for approximately 100 burials. Most of the stones are intact and clearly legible, corresponding photographs have been posted in the gallery under the “Wall Cemetery”.
