Thank you so much for sharing this information. What an insight to my 3rd great grandfather. I am a descendent of who I thought was LaVerna, but in the papers appears to be Vernie (which may have been a nickname of some sort). Loved reading the pension papers you provided. Also, your grandfather resembles the men in our family.

The information is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Melissa Kane

I noticed that listed in the Harmony deaths, my great great grandfather Daniel C. Myrick is buried in the
Brandt cemetery, however, it does not indicate if he has a head stone. Is there a way to find out?

My g. grandmother... stone is JOINES, Irene C. 1897 - 1969 and not JONES as you have listed here. Thank you for all your efforts. This is wonderful information.

There is another small stone near my G. Grandmother and her mother, Mrs. Urbane D. Whitney. Buried there is Donald Joines, 1934 - 1937, son of Irene Joines. Additionally, Mrs. Catherine Whitney's father, George A. Bergman is also buried beside Catherine Whitney. George A. Bergman b. 1 Dec. 1855 d. 5 July 1948. There are no stones for these individuals but after sorting through the cemetery records and death certificates, it has been confirmed.

Re: Maple Ridge Cemetary

You have listed a stone for Irene C. Jones-this is not correct. Her name is JOINES. She is my grandmother.

Can you please change it? Thank you.

I loved finding this web-site. We live down Stevens Point Rd (on the organic farm). I was interested in finding the history of the church now that I see they have torn down the old meeting house and just wondering (hoping) if they are tearing down the church too.
Thank You, I see that this is a labor of love for whomever is keeping this site active.

I would like to note that the above listed Smith, Agnes is actually ANGUS SMITH, a pioneer of Susquehanna county, from Starrucca, and the first man to operate a wood acid factory in the United States.

Diane,

You have done a monumental service for genealogists and people from the local areas in helping to find their ancestors and in learning the local history. I especially like the veterns' list and the pictures of the headstones with list of people buried for the local cemeteries.

Job well done.
